2017 Icicle Series

2017 Icicle (Christmas) Series

The 2017 Christmas (Icicle) Series will have five races this year with three to count. There will be two races on Sunday 17 Dec, one on Sunday 24 Dec and two on Sunday 31 Dec.
The Icicle Trophy will be presented to the winner of the series.

Because of the nature of the series, it is expected that the members who decide to race in this series will offer to do a race/safety role whether they have paid the waiver fee or not. These duties are considered separate to the normal duty system. Average points for (one race) will be available (as per normal racing) if you sign on the day of a duty. So, if you do offer to help, you will not lose out in the series.

If you intend to do the series, please be generous and offer your assistance as without volunteers, no racing will take place. There is a sign up form in the clubroom or please let or know

Needed: SRO, AROs, Safety Helms and Crew, Results and Bar (1 member also a keyholder)

Session Two: 2.30pm - 4pm

Come along to the club and make a rustic wreath full of natures treasures from the woods and garden. We will put together a mixture of very natural materials that you might expect to find on a walk in the woods. Ideal for your front door or indoors, on a wall, propped up on a shelf or mantelpiece. Lovely as a gift for any occasion - it could also be used as an Xmas arrangement with a large candle in the middle.

Places are filling up fast so don't forget to book a place by emailing no later than 10am, Friday 1st December 2017.
